The try:
No, Mother, he wasn't using a cellphone at this point. In fact, the use of a cellphone could ruin the "situation" even before the power outage happen. At least that's what I heard everytime I'm jumping into one of these. I didn't realize it's prolly for a business reason.

OOT also:
belum sempet nyewa Hentai nya, ntar ah nyoba. Ike udah nonton dua2nya tapi timing salah kali ya...ntar nyewa lagi ah.. Makasih ya.

Hm. Maybe I should be patient. Questions:
1. Does the fact that he was writing a letter have anything to do with his death?
2. Could it be that what happened was really those:
a) that a man was writing a letter
b) there was a power outage
c) a man/a boy died
where the three events are exclusive and independent of one another?
3. Did he know that he was going to die?
4. Was the power outage intentional?
5. Was he in a prison?
6. Was he in a space shuttle which depended on electricity to create artificial gravity, and when the power went out he knocked on something sharp in the shuttle and died?
7. Was the man running out of time?
