Summertime

Summertime, an' the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin' an' the cotton is high
Oh, Yo daddy's rich an' yo' ma is good lookin'
So hush, little baby, don't you cry

One of these mornin's, you goin' to rise up singin'
Then you'll spread yo' wings an' you'll take the sky
But till that mornin', there's a nothin' can harm you
With daddy & mammy standin' by

Summertime, George Gershwin, originally for the opera Porgy and Bess

Performing that song wholeheartedly (for the second time) as her third in last night's American Idol finale, I bet that Miss Barrino would definitely be the next American Idol. The voting gap between Barrino-de Garmo is for sure won't be as close as between last year's Studdard-Aiken. Yay Fantasia!!

Comments:
i knoow!!!
fantasia has been my fav ever since they announced the top 32.
i mean, she's just, sooo.. natural. just like kelly clarkson.
that's why i didn't even bother to watch the rest of the show
until last night, for the season finale. and boy was i right,
fantasia nailed it!!! woo-hoooo!!!

Hihihi...you're so right pink. She's a really good performer/singer with a twist of attitude. "I am gonna be an American Idol because my lips is big but my talent is bigger" Girl...
Did you vote, btw?
