There's an invitation to a birthday party this Saturday. How time flies, it's already been a year since he first said hello. And it seems just yesterday that we attended his baptism.

So, what to get a 1-year old who already has everything in the world that he needed? More toys, more books, a pool of his own? I propose a communal trip to the Toys-R-Us. (You know the drill, us being poor college-graduate students and all, everyone has to chip in to be able to afford a decent birthday present.)

I just hope he doesn't develop his version of Ms. Spears' uneasiness, he's being not an infant, not yet a toddler.
