If there was anything interesting on this week's trip to the grocery store, it was that the fresh flowers on the florist area of the supermarket seemed to be more appealing. As a result, the sibblings and I tagged these colored daisies into our shopping cart.
Part of the reasons we picked that particular bunch was that it kinda unites the many colors present in our living room, the green sofa, the orange shelf, and the blue, green, red, yellow decorating stuff here and there. Another reason was its affordable price. I've never visited a florist before, only have some fuzzy ideas that dozen plain roses at its peak days (Valentine season, that is) cost 20 something bucks, its bouquet cost much much more. Oh, and QuantumCobalt's beautiful bridal bouquet & the Maid of Honor bouquet I carried five years ago cost heaven knows how much.

More on this flower power, my brother has been trying out his luck on having a green thumb. He has planted several flowers on the backyard since this last Spring Break. My sister also bought one herself but carefully delegated the caring to him. Bro's constant care and affection to the plants showed indispensable results. The rose plant grew more leaves and one or two tiny bulbs. Unfortunately, it mysteriously died a month ago --purportly from hypernutrition-- before the tiny bulbs ever had the chance to bloom into full grown roses. He still has the other ones alive and growing, though.
After Bro & Sis had finished arranging the daisies on the tall vase, Bro then picked several of the purple and red Spring flowers from his backyard "nursery". He made another flower arrangement (it's the one shown to your right there) and put it on the countertop beside the bathroom sink.
If nothing else, the whole apartment becomes hommier than ever now. It's just quite amazing, setting up a few things like that could create such an effect.
