Your style's mostly goofy, innocent and feel-good. Perfect for parties and for the dads who chaperone them. You can actually get away with corny jokes, and I bet your sense of humor is a guilty pleasure for your friends. People of your type are often the most approachable and popular people in their circle. Your simple & silly good-naturedness is immediately recognizable, and it sets you apart in this sarcastic world.
PEOPLE LIKE YOU: Will Ferrell - Will Smith
My test tracked 3 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:
Today, back to applying (and reapplying) SPF 45, to donning my Yoko Ono shade, to gulping gallon of gallon of water. Gosh, it's only 89 but it surely does feel like 95.
This week at work, not looking forward to anything, as I am rather tired of dealing with machine breaking down everytime I'm ready plotting to start experiments.
This week on family life, dear father's 53rd birthday and youngest brother's starting new student orientation at a Catholic university in Jakarta. Bro and million others high school graduates are also waiting for August 5th, the day the results to the state university entrance exam will be published. The whole family hopes it would be a dadah Jakarta, halo-halo Bandung, we'll see.
This weekend on entertainment life, The Phantom of the Opera and a visit to a Houston culinary delight that won't robbed our already ultra-thin wallets.
Egad, I hope owners are leading a life as healthy as what they plan for their four-legged friends:
"There are four characteristics of a good pet food," Zoran believes.
"The first quality is palatability. If dogs get hungry enough, they will eat almost anything but you want their food to be something they enjoy."
A good food will also help your animal maintain a healthy weight. According to Zoran, a food that agrees with a particular animal gives it a good body condition.
The third characteristic of a quality food is an animal's healthy skin and hair. "If his skin is clear without any flakes or scales and his coat is shiny, not dull or brittle, then the food is good," she says.
The final judge of an appropriate food is stool quality. "The animal should not go too frequently or have too much gas, and the stool should always be formed but not too hard or soft," she notes. . . . Zoran also recommends buying the most expensive food you can afford. "If you're on a tight budget, it may still be generic, but generally, a more expensive food goes through more rigorous testing and the protein used in it is of a higher standard," she says.
Back in the good ol' days of undergrad years, freshly anti-social, I had a habit to watch movies I considered favorites multiple times. Mostly in videos, some in theathers while they were still playing, the rest from TV reruns. Yeah, so the three Indiana Jones, the Starwars Trilogy, My Bestfriend's Wedding, You've Got Mail, The Mummy, Dancer, Texas Pop.81, and I forgot many others, were bound to fill up most of my weekends. I knew the lines by heart, I hummed to their soundtracks, I read their IMDB trivias, I did obsessive information dig ups on them. Crazy crazy me.
So anyway, today, while blogwalking to a new favorite, I came across the action figure below and smiled. Those of you sharing fondness about that Monty Phyton movie would understand. Maybe I should rent it again for the umptenth time this weekend. Sanctuary, sanctuary...
St. Mary's Catholic Church, College Station has been known to house several artful performances. Among the notable ones were the concerts given by her resident Schola cantorum and Korean Choir to TAMU's Trombone Ensemble.
The sixth generation of the Omagh Community Youth Chair performed tonight at 7 o'clock as a part of their US tour that includes Texas and Lousianna.
The energetic 30-song ensemble packed an audience of around 300 and encored with two songs, the last one, O Sole Mio, was comically solo-ed by the Music Director Darryl Simpson.
Among the selections were Let Us Love in Peace, Circle of Life from The Lion King, and a Swahili cant.
Folks, as I am scribbling the content of this post, I am preparing a film deposition with the most hazardous gas composition. Leaks might develop and some explosion might not be contained, both of which could result in a traumatic physical/mental situation. In that case, all blogging related activities might be hold idle for quite some time.
I am going through the pre-deposition check list: evacuating air from the system, purging it with neutral gas, activating the leak detector, and finally putting the gasses to the reactor. Hopefully, everything will turn out OK.
Later.
Updated 07/21 Statistics of the last seven days:

You are elegant, withdrawn, and brilliant. Your mind is a weapon, able to solve any puzzle. You are also great at poking holes in arguments and common beliefs.
For you, comfort and calm are very important. You tend to thrive on your own and shrug off most affection. You prefer to protect your emotions and stay strong.
Unpredictable and wild, you know how to have fun. You're also a trendsetter who takes risks with new things. You know about the latest and greatest - and may have invented it. You are most compatible with vanilla ice cream.
Brightly coloured soft drinks attract little children (and some adults too). Without the slightest hesitation, they reached on stuff like Sunkist and Hawaian Punch over the usual sodas. Where on earth were the parents? These kids are already jumpy as they are, and know you let them have these liquid candies, brightly coloured liquid candies???
Coke is still the crowd's favorite, although...
...true Texans prefer Dr. Pepper over Coke
Uh uh, yeah, even a sip of the other stuff is enough to send them to soft drink hell.
People with a great figure (and want to maintain it that way) prefer dieta over normal sodas.
Other folks, of course, didn't really care as to what kind of stuff they're gulping on.
"Whatever it is, it doesn't look that it has caffeine on it"
Big mistake lady, that thing you're sipping, is Mountain Dew, 60% more caffeine than a Classic Coke. But sure, I didn't tell her that.
This doesn't make sense: "Can I have it with no ice(, please)?"
Well, whatever float your sodas...
"Do you have water?"
We then directed these folks to the way of the water fountain, "Oh, here, take this big cup with you."
Between the blasts (well, not to me personally), the failed experiments, and the thunderstorms, this day has surely gone haywired.
But there are always the little things, you know, that sort of form their compensating effect. The sweet smell of fresh laundry --not mine, I happened to walk by the laundry room; a phone call from a loyal and caring friend who despite of suffering under a plethora of life crises still takes the time and effort to take care of you[r sister] --you see, even the most pessimist of the goodnest of humanity would take a sudden change of heart; a chance to finish work just in time for a visit to the little chappel to cool it all down.
Will I miss ...the internet? ...morning Rec sessions? ...binge cooking? ...the lab, the machines? ...the cold grape-fruit juice? ...the bed & the comforter? ...the late night TVs? ...David Copperfield (the book)? ...the AC? ...electricity? ...this little town?
Darn, couldn't even start closing my eyes, I'm all too excited for tomorrow, tomorrow as in six hours from now tomorrow.
Wish we could get a day off on next year's July 3rd, y'know, so that it would be an even longer weekend. Longer weekend translates to longer trip translates to a possiblity to go out-of-state translates to (hopefully) more adventure (to blog about).
