So the advisor sent an e-mail asking me to apply for a travel grant for a conference this October. If I got it, he wouldl let me go and take care of other incurring expenses.

Thing is, my US visa is expired. I'm tempting to go south of the border and apply for one. Or, go back for a few weeks to Indonesia before Fall semester starts.

Sadly, I don't feel like going home.
