After a few weeks of rainy summer, which translated into even damper humidity and mosquitos the size of killer bees, it's finally dry, shiny, and piercing 95 degree outside today.

On a sweller note, we are off to Houston in a couple hours to spend the night before commencing our early morning 5-6 hours road trip to New Orleans. Live jazz performances, tasty beignet & good coffee, Creolean cuisines & seafood, steamboat riding and maybe some 4th of July fireworks fiesta...one word, delightful!
