Anyhoo, I came across a buletin board post comparing Ms. Laurentiis with another Food Channel personality/diva, Rachael Ray. Interesting.

Although both are lovely cooks with respectable experiences, I would prefer Rachael's cooking show over Giada's anytime. While Ms. Laurentiis sticks to her Italian root in her Everyday Italian show, Ms. Ray ventures out of it and combines the All-American experience nicely into her shows. Ms. Ray currently has two shows running on Food Channel: 40$ a day, and 30 Minute Meals, and the November premieering Inside Dish with Rachael Ray.
